Weight: 14 lbs 50%

Derek turned 3 months on the 19th. Time is flying by so fast.
We all just love watching the stages that he is going though.
I does not like tummy time but doesn't he hold his head up so well. I love to listen to him talk to me. The other night I started to softly tickle him and he started to laugh. It was so cute to watch him. He is grabbing on to things now. When ever I try to put him done he has got a hand tightly gripped around my shirt. He also loves to suck on this first and middle finger on his left hand (so does Jackson). Its so fun to see how he is different and similar to Erica and Jackson.
He keeps growing chunkier and chunkier everyday. I love it. Those cheeks are so soft you just have to kiss them.

Erica and Jackson eating their pizza by the fireplace. We were all having a lot of fun.

Grandpa Kenney with Brooke and Derek.
All the grandkids love Grandpa.

Jackson made our bed. Isn't he such a great helper!?
(This is our new bed. I just love it. We also got it for a great price that made it even better.)

Erica: "Dad are you thinking you know what I'm thinking?"

Dad: "I think I do."

Erica: "I'm thinking this isn't very fun."

Brent had "Young Men" on Tuesday Night. They played volleyball with the Young Women. I thought that it would be fun for all of us to go together so the kids and I could get out of the house. The weather here has been miserable (Mostly wind). Upon arriving at the church, Jackson found a basketball that kept him occupied the entire time we were there. Erica stayed with Brent and watched the kids play. It was while they were watching that Erica and Brent had the little monologue above. Kids say the funniest things.

"How to make a Sandwich" By, Erica

1. Get out the Bread, Mustard, Mayo, Cheese, and Turkey.
2. Spread the Mayo and Mustard on bread.
3. Slice the cheese with cheese slicer.
4. Place Cheese on Bread.
5. Place Turkey on Bread.
6. Put the top on.
7. Enjoy!!!
8. All of this is done while looking absolutely gorgeous.

Erica loves to make her own Turkey sandwich. That's all she wants to eat, and I think its because she gets to make it herself. A couple of weekends ago I took Jackson to the the store with me and while I was gone Erica got everything out herself and made lunch for her and Brent. It was so cute. She is growing up so fast.

I love my cute kids!
(Don't you love how Jackson is so proud of himself for unwrapping his diaper?!)

Twin's for the Waters

Today at 10:00am our friends Kaden and Amanda Waters from Richfield had their twin girls. We are so excited for them. They named them Maylee and Ellie. So cute.

Happy 2nd Birthday Jackson!

I can't believe that our little guys is two years old already. We had a really fun evening with the Kids. We ate dinner and then had some of Jackson's soccer cake. I think that this is my favorite cake that I have made. Jackson loved it so much. He was way excited when he saw it. After cake we took Erica and Jackson for a Bath. They were pretty messy after cake and ice cream. Then we talked with Brent's parents over skype while Jackson opened presents. Nana and Grandpa gave him a toy story outfit and a Woody and Jessie doll. Erica of course took over the Jessie doll and Jackson didn't seem to care. Brent and I gave him some little robots that he was so excited about, and a tracker, and a little backpack to carry his things around in. Erica gave him a drum and Derek gave him a see and say. It was so much fun to watch his excitement. I don't think that I have ever heard him say so many words before. He also started to say new words.
Words that Jackson can Say:
Football
Robot
mama
dadda
all gone
dayday (Derek)
geeka (Erica)
Ball
Cheese (Please)
Ha Ha(Sounds like he is singing Thank you)
Gaaaa (Growling sound meaning Gandpa Kenney)
Hogarth (from the movie The Iron Giant)
Nana
ByeBye
When he says football he holds his hands up in the air and says FOOTBALL really loud. So cute.
After saying good bye to Nana and Grandpa it was time for bed. We read Lama Lama Red Pajama, and There's a Rumble in the Jungle. They are Jackson's favorite books right now along with Goodnight Moon. Brent and I have really enjoyed having him and getting to know his personality. He is the happiest kid and has such a great smile to go along with it.
