Erica on the left waving to Dad and Jackson.  I'm sitting beside her with Brooke.  Derek stayed back at the hotel with Grandma to take a nap.  The rest of us all went to the park and played and had pizza with cousins.

Erica made everyone a bottle and they all decided to sit on the window seal while drinking their water.

Jackson's New Bike

This little face makes me smile so much.  He is such a sweet little boy.  A couple of days ago I bought 2 bikes from D I and we took the pedals off of them.  They are called DIY balance bikes.  The kids have been loving them.  The whole idea is for them to learn how to balance on the bike and gain confidence.  It is suppose to help them learn to ride a bike without training wheels sooner.  Last night Jackson and I went on a bike ride.  He rode and I walked along side him.  We also got him a Lighting McQueen helmet that he calls "Lighting McQueen Power Helmet," along with a little bell for the handle that he loves.

St. George Carousel

I found this picture on my sisters facebook page.  This was taken fall 2011.  My Mom took my sister Cheryl and I with the grandkids down to St. George.  We played at the water park on Main Street and then went on the Carousel  a billion time.  I would suggest never riding in the sets.  This picture was taken before the ride.  I felt so sick afterwards. I love how excited the boys are.

Sledding and Snow forts

Back in February we had a really good snow storm. The Saturday after the storm it was so nice.  After putting the boys down for there nap I decided to take Erica for a walk around the block.  As we were heading around the corner I notice a lot of kids down at the end of the street.  We walked down and there were a lot of neighborhood kids and their mom's hanging out and sledding on this empty lot.  Erica and I had so much fun.  We stayed over there for about 3 hours.  Erica played with her friend Derek Belnap and went down the hill once or twice with his older sister Sydney.  Later on all the kids went over to the Clarke's home across the street and they made a big fort.  Erica had so much fun.  After playing in the snow we all went back to the Belnap's home up the street for some hot chocolate.  We didn't head home until around 4:30pm.  It was such a fun day and I had so much fun spending time with Erica and Sister Belnap and Sister Clarke.

Kindergarten Registration

On March 14, 2012 I took Erica to Enoch Elementary for Kindergarten Registration.  CRAZY!  She isn't big enough for kindergarten.  I can't believe that she is 5 now.  I'm so excited for her.  She can't wait to start going to school.  We always drive by the school while taking her to preschool and she proudly starts I'm going to go there someday, or that's going to be my new school.  I must admit that I'm also excited.  After having three kids at home all day I'm ready to start onto a new phase of my life.  Mom and Dad are so excited for you Erica to start school.  Can't wait for you to learn new things and make life long friends.  Love you baby girl.

Potty Trained

Jackson had now been officially potty trained for about three weeks now.  It has been so weird for me to not have to change two kids diapers.  After having to do it for so long I get worried when I think that I have forgotten to change Jackson's diaper and then realize that I don't have to anymore.  This experience has been so much nicer for me.  After going though this with Erica (who I feel I pushed to hard to be potty trained) this was a breeze.  He just decided to do it.  He would tell me that he need to go and so he went.  After about a week of this we finally gave him his big boy underwear and he has done great.  We have had a few accidents but nothing to major.  Congratulation's Jackson.  Mom and Dad are so proud of you.

15 Months

Weight:  23lbs 4oz  Height:  30 3/4 inches
Head circumference:  18 1/4 inches

In February Derek turned 15 months.  He has finally started going down the stairs on his own.  He turns at the top of  the stairs and slides down on his tummy.  He has recently started scooting down the stairs on his bum.  He can say ball and tickle tickle.  He has three molars and the fourth is on its way.  He also loves to kiss his Mom and Dad.  We will ask for a kiss and he will just place his lips on our cheek or lips.  Then he will pull back with a big smile.  Derek is very interested in books.  He loves to sit on our laps at night when we read stories for bed time.  He will pick books to bring to us, and is very good at siting to listen to the story.  He is still such a happy little boy.  People are always asking me if he is all ways so happy and smiley.  I say, yes unless he wants something.  I love my baby so much.  It makes me sad to think that he wont be a baby for that much longer.

February Happenings

Erica and Jackson's Nana sent them these cute dress-ups for Valentine's Day.  (Erica is wearing her new swim suit under the outfit.)

Erica had such a great time taking care of her patients on the coach behind them.

At one point she had be go and take care of her patient and told me to give them purple medicine and salt because the patient likes salt.

I found Derek hanging out while the kids were watching a movie.

I love those Blue eyes.

Cute toothy grin.

Erica hanging out on the top of the coach.  She wanted me to take pictures of her after I had taken some of Derek on the pink coach.

At the end of January we started having trouble with our computer.  While I was looking something up the computer got a really bad virus that recked the whole computer.  We were so glad that our hard drive was safe with all of our pictures and video.  We decided to get a new computer since ours was 6-8 years old.  We had heard really good things about Apple so we took a family trip down to St. George.  We had a fun time taking the kids to the temple visitor center and then having a little dinner picnic across the street.  We then went to the Apple store and bought a computer.  We were very excited about it.  After a couple of days we discovered we did not like the computer.  Brent hooked it all up and when it was time to hook the hard drive up the computer incripted all of the files.  We had lost all of our pictures and family video just because of that computer.  I took it back to St. George with the kids and was refunded.  We later bought and HP laptop and love it.  After being in such a scare and saying a lot of prayers Brent's friend from work was able to uncover all of our info and pictures on our hard drive.  Thank goodness.  I was feeling so sick for about two weeks.
Jackson wanted to help dad with shoveling the walks after a big snow storm.
 Love the flip flops.
This little guy is Brent's big helper.  He loves to do everything with his dad.
