Merry Christmas!!!

Well, I didn't get a Christmas card out last year because we were moving and Just had a baby.  I have no excuse this year excepted that I'm a slacker and didn't get one done.  So, I decided that I would update everyone and say Merry Christmas on my blog.
Erica has been loving preschool this year.  Her Teacher is Teresa Christensen.  She does a preschool out of her home.  She has also been enjoying her dance class.  She has had two recitals so far and has done so well.  She is so sweet to her brother Derek.  She is off and on with Jackson but they love each other.
Jackson has been loving his class that he goes to.  His speech has improved so much since April.  I can't believe how much he says that I can understand.  For the last month or so he has been saying "my name Jack".  His was a big improvement because he has never said his name.  Just the other day he said Jackson.  I was so proud of him.
Derek turned 1 a month ago.  He has been walking since 11 1/2 months and just goes, goes, goes.  He loves to wave bye, bye to his Dad in the morning and gets so excited when he comes home at night.  He also loves to bring me a toy and show it to me.  Then he will take it back and run off smiling.
Brent has really enjoyed being back and the main State Bank Branch.  He really enjoys the people that he works with and all that he has learned from them in a short amount of time.
I have been keeping all of the schedules for the kids so that they get were they need to go.  It has been really fun this year to be back by family and have the cousins play.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Grandparents

This is a poem that I came across and embroidered for Brent's Grandma and Grandpa Farnsworth one Christmas.

Grandparents

Few can bring the warmth
We can find in their embrace,
And little more is needed to bring love,
Than the smile on their face.
They've a supply of precious stories,
Yet they've time to wipe a tear,
Or give us reasons to make us laugh,
They grow more precious through the years,
I believe that God sent us Grandparents
As our legacy from above.
To Share the moments of our life,
As extra measures of His love.

Erica's First Dance Recital: November 13, 2011

Erica all excited for her first dance recital at Canyon View High School.
Back stage playing and getting ready to dance.
Doing there dance to "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town".
After Erica did her dance Brent took the boys home and we stayed and watched all the pretty dancers.  Erica loved all the costumes.

Cookie Monster Birthday

The Birthday Cake.  I'm so happy with the way it turned out.  I put a layer of chocolate chip cookies in the middle with some frosting to hold it together.  It was really good cake.
Derek blowing out his candle with some help from Erica, Jackson, and cousin's.
He was not afraid to dig right in to his cake.  Erica and Jackson both cried when they saw their cakes.  They would not touch them.
Great G&G:  New PJ's and a board book
Mom & Dad:  New pants
Erica & Jackson:  Cookie Monster
G&G Kenney: Ball Popping Dinosaur
Walser Family:  New Shirt and Pants
Nana & Grandpa Davis: Cute bear quilt and clothes (sent in the mail)
Thanks so much for all the wonderful gifts.  He loves them all.

(Derek after just waking up on his Birthday)

Guess who turned One today!  DEREK!!!
I can't believe it.  This year went by so fast.  I remember when Erica turned one and how that first year went by so slow.  Jackson's first year went a little faster.
He cut his 7th took a couple weeks ago.  He now has four teeth on top and three on the bottom.
He is either really happy and laughing all the time or he is upset and screeching at you.  Sometimes its hard to tell if he is laughing for screaming.  If you can't see his face it's really hard to tell because the laughing and screaming sound the same.  At the end of October he took five steps in a row to me.  At 11 1/2 months he starting walking all the time.  He has started walking so much sooner than Erica and Jackson.  They weren't that far behind him though.
He loves to play peek-a-boo.  The other day he was standing my the stairs.  He would hide on the stairs and then turn his head around the corning when I said "were is Derek".  He has the biggest, cutest grin.  He also loves to play peek-a-boo with his blanket when he is going to bed.
He is starting to carry his blanket around.  He likes to bring it with him after he takes a nap.  It's so funny how all of are kids are so attached to their blankets.  He is just like Erica and Jackson.  When he has a hold of his blanket he likes to suck on his two middle fingers on his left hand.
Tonight we are having a Cookie Monster birthday party for him.  Grandparent's and cousins are all coming.  I can't wait.  It's going to be so cute.

Brent's Mom flew out to take care of her Mother for the month of September.  Since Grandma was going down heal we decided that we needed to go up and see her and Grandpa.  I wanted to make sure that Brent was able to say his good byes before she was gone.  The kids were so good.  They all gave Grandma a kiss and a huge.  They also loved playing with their Nana.  I'm so grateful to have know this wonderful women.  I'm just in awe of how she lived her life and raised her family.  I hope that she is on the other side giving me the guidance along with Heavenly Father to help me raise our kids.  Brent and I are so grateful to have the knowledge that we will see her again and be with other family members who have gone before us.
We all love you Grandma.

Erica's First Day of School

It took me forever to post this, but Erica really did have a first day of school.  I just need to go and find the pictures.  She is going to Teresa Christensen's preschool "TLC".  She loves it.  She can take show and tell everyday, and when she gets there the teacher has it set up so they can go right to the table and start coloring.  Erica loves to do art's and crafts.  She goes on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 1:00pm until 3:20pm.

Painting Breakfast

This morning Erica and Jackson painted their breakfast.
We have been having a hard time with cereal.  We end up dumping out half the bowl.
So I thought this morning breakfast could be fun and good for you.
I just put a little milk in a bowl and then some food coloring.  We did pink for Erica and blue for Jackson.
They painted the bread and then we toasted it in the toaster.
So much fun.

Derek is 11 Months old today.  Time goes by so fast.  One more month and then it's Derek's Birthday.  I really need to start thinking about what to get him.
There have been a lot of changes in this little guy's life in the past month.
He now has tooth #6 (cut it a couple of days ago).
On Sunday he took his first steps all by himself.  In the morning he took two steps for Brent and then later did two steps for me.
He is our little climber.  The dishwasher is his favorite toy.  If he sees that it is open, he crawls as fast as he can to get to it.  Then he starts to pull out anything that he can.  After he is done with that he will push the bottom rack in and climb on to the door and then start pulling stuff out of the top rack.
He also loves to open cupboards and pull everything out.  We are going to have to start child proofing again.
He loves to smile.  He is quite the attention grabber when he is happy.
On the flip side, he can also be very dramatic.  He is the loudest cryer of all my kids.  Thank goodness, he smiles more than he cries.
I love this little guy so much.  I love that when he is hurt he comes right to me so I can make it better.  When he wants to play he comes to me.  I love that he likes to play with me.
I love you so much Derek.

Sometimes you feel like a "Bad Guy"

This morning started out pretty well.  Jackson woke up at 6:30 as usual and so I took him down to watch Toy Story 3.  Erica woke up at 7:00.  Derek started crying for me to get him up shortly thereafter.  Brent left for work at 8:00 and everything was still calm and nice.
The peace would not last long..a "bad" thing was about to happen.  I was upstairs getting dressed when Erica brought Derek a bottle (something that is a big "no no"). I don't mind her helping, I just don't like her climbing on the counter to get the formula.  Plus, I don't want her teaching Jackson to do it...TO LATE!  I went downstairs and low and behold Jackson was at the sink making bottle after bottle.  By the time I found him he had used almost half of my new can of  formula.  Needless to say, Erica and Jackson both got time-outs. Poor Derek sat on the floor crying while I cleaned up the mess and gave a lecture that seemed to fall on deaf ears.

My next frustration would be in Erica's room.  Last night Brent and I kept asking Erica to clean up her room.  The picture above is a slight understatement of how messy her room was.  We finally told her that if she didn't clean then I would come in with a bag in the morning and pick it all up for her.  Well, she wouldn't clean it up this morning either so in I went with the garbage bag.  After she realized that I was serious, she started to hurry and pick up the things that she really wanted to keep.  Her room looks clean now but I am the "Bad Guy".

For the moment, my house is calm again.  Derek is down for a nap.  Jackson is looking through books at the kitchen table.  Erica is dancing around in her ballet outfit and barbie shoes.  All I need to do now is to enjoy this positive moment and pray that my children will be the happiest helpful children in the world for the rest of the day.

Tooth #5

Derek's fifth tooth cut either today or yesterday.

Monday, September 19, 2011

Wow Derek is already 10 Months old.  I knew it was coming up but I didn't know until I looked at the calendar that it was today.
Stats:  20lbs
This little guy is so heavy and wiggles a lot.  It is so hard to hold him now. He also isn't wiggling because I'm holding him.  You would think that he wants to get down, but once you put him down then you hear the cry that means pick me back up, pick me back up.
He is starting to balance on he feet.  When he is just staying still and playing with a toy he doesn't just sit he always on his feet.  He can also stand up by himself.  He has done this quite a few times.  Mamamama is his new sound that he can say.  I love it.  Makes me feel wanted.  He has four teeth now, two on top and two on the bottom.  The  fifth one should come any day now.  Compared to the other two kids Derek is very sensitive when it comes to teething.  He lets you know that he is upset and in pain.  He is down to one nap a day.  Sometimes he will take a short nap in the morning depending on how early he got up.
His little personality is starting to come out more and more.  One of my favorite things he does is when I'm feeding him a treat.  The other night it was a brownie.  He will get so excited for you to put it in his mouth and then once it's in he is all smiles and giggles.  It makes me smile just thinking of it.

Jackson's First Day of School

Today was Jackson's First Day of School.  He has started going two day's a week to Early Intervention.  He loves going to school and gets so excited whenever I mention, "Today is school."  I Love you Jackson.  I know that you will have a great time.  In February they will re-evaluate his progress and let us know if he needs to continue.

Rrrrrrrr a pirates life for me....

Nana made these cute pirate outfits for Erica and Jackson. They are so excited about them. The night we opened them all I heard was I want to be a pirate for Halloween. Jackson looked so cute in his bandana. Erica loved her eye patch. We used Erica's bandana as a treasure map. When it was time to go to bed Brent got down a box for the treasure and went to hide it with Jackson (toothbrushes inside as treasure). Erica and I went to find it. When it was opened you have never seen two kids so excited about seeing their toothbrushes and then getting to use them to brush their teeth. Thanks so much Nana.

First Day of Dance Class

All the little girls lined up on the tape. The little girl in the red skirt was so excited she could not stay on her tape. She was suppose to stand on the back row. It was so funny.

Erica waiting for her turn to dance across the room with the teacher.

Learning each others names. Erica got to go first.

At home right before going to class.

Listening to the teacher at the end of class.

Erica had her First day of dance today. It was so fun to get her all dressed up and then do her hair like a ballerina. She was so excited. When we got there she ran in and wanted to start dancing right away. She loved to twirl and she listened to the teacher so well. They learned all the positions of ballet and then danced to some songs. She can't wait to go next week. When I asked her who her favorite friend was she told me "the girl in the red and black."  After class was over we went and got in the car.  The first thing Erica asked me was, "Mom did we win a trophy?"  She saw some trophies in the classroom and asked me about them when we signed her up a few weeks before.  I had told her that when she is older she might win a trophy if she stays with dancing.  She thought that was the coolest thing.

Can't wait to watch her in her recital at Christmas with her cute little costume on.

Potty Training: "I'm just not ready"

Well I figured that Jackson might not be ready for potty training but I just had to try. We were intense for 4 days and he just never got the concept that he needed to run to the potty when he needed to go. I think that I was the one who was potty trained if anyone was. I was always running him to the potty and just making it. This same thing happened with Erica also. I tried to early and she just didn't get it. I don't think that this will hurt are chances for a second try later on though. He was so good to go with me and such a happy boy though the whole thing. I just wish that I listened to my gut and understood that he wasn't ready, but now we know and it wont be so hard to put a diaper on him wondering if we could just get rid of them.

Potty Training Day 4

Well I would say that today marks the first day of potty training for real. Jackson has been doing so well this morning. We have only had one accident and the rest of it has gone in the potty. I'm feeling really encouraged. He just went down for a nap. I hope he will be as good in the afternoon.

Potty Training Day 3

11:22 am: Well this morning has been pretty uneventful which I guess you could say is good. Jackson did wake up with a pretty dry diaper (that's if Brent didn't change his diaper before he left for work). There have been no accidents, and also nothing in the potty. Hope he does soon cause it's almost nap time.

12:18 pm: I just put Jackson and Derek down for a nap. Jackson still has not gone in is potty. I wonder if he was waiting for me to put his diaper on for his nap. Well I guess that we will find out soon enough.

4:35 pm: Poop accident.

5:30 pm: Victory!!!! I had to write down Jackson's real first victory. He went poop and pee in his potty and was so excited about it. I hope that the excitement will last for him I know that I'm feeling it right now.

9:12 pm: This evening Brent came home and I was able to go to Relief Society and then too book club. I was so ready to get out of the house. Before I left I can't tell you how many times Jackson peed on the flour and I was getting away from it all (to be nice i took Derek with me, for Brent's sake). While I was gone he did go in the potty once.

Potty Training Day 2

11:56 am: So far we have had two accidents this morning and nothing in the toilet. The two time he had an accident he didn't even come and get me to tell me he was wet. I keep telling myself that it's okay, and to keep going on even though I want to throw in the towel right now. He will be wearing a diaper for his nap and that will give me a little break. I'm starting to think that sending Derek and Erica somewhere else so the I can just concentrate on Jackson would make thing a whole lot easier, but I don't know.

4:35 pm: Yeah he woke up from his nap at 3:00 with a dry diaper, so i put him on the potty, nothing. I have had him on the potty three times since he woke up still nothing. He has even had a Popsicle and some pop and still nothing..

7:06 pm: Yeah we have had one success. Jackson was hating sitting on the toilet, but he also hated the potty chair at my sisters house we tried yesterday. So I got to thinking and pulled out a stainless bowl that I never use and placed his toilet set on the bowl. He likes it more right now. Just a while ago he had and accident and then sat down on his little bowl again. Then I hear Brent call to Jackson because he had found his bowl with a little puddle in it. Yeah for Jackson. I was hoping that was all it would take. Well Brent just left for YM's and Jackson opened the front door with just a shirt on and went pee on the front porch while waving goodbye to Daddy. One step forward two steps back isn't that right?!

9:01 pm: Jackson is done on his potty sitting by Brent. We had him put a diaper on because a friend came over and wanted to play outside. When I took it off there was only a little bit of pee. Not really any so we decided to see if he will go before bed. I hope he does, and I hope that tomorrow will be a better day for potty training. I can't wait to only have one kid in diapers.

Potty Training Day 1

Yesterday was day 1 of potty training Jackson. I'm doing it now because we have about 2 weeks before things start going again with school and dance. So here we are. We went and got him some cute underpants that have all kinds of balls all over them. He was so excited when I gave them to him.

We started trying to use the potty after nap time. A couple of hours in we still had no success and one accident. That's okay though. You can't expected them to get it right off. Erica and I have been trying to get him so excited about it. Derek has even been in on it too. He thinks that its fun to pull himself up on the toilet while Jackson is trying to go. Jackson doesn't like this so much. We try to keep Derek distracted with toys while we go in for another try.

Erica

A couple of days ago Brent was helping Erica clean up the family room.

Dad: "Erica will you help me clean up the toys?"
Erica: "Dad, that's not my deal."

Visit from the Longhurst Family

Last night Skye and Bracken came to visit us with their cute family. We had dinner together and let the kids all run around. They were all so good together. We didn't have a single fight. It's so fun to see them. It's been a few years since we all hung out together. They have three cute kids. Hayes just turn 5, Kamri is 3, and Layla is 4 months. It's so fun that we all have kids the same ages. Thanks for the visit.

Derek was 9 months on the 19th.
It's so crazy all of the new things that he does now, and most of them he has mastered in the last couple of days.
Crawling on all fours.
Pulling himself up on chairs and the coach.
Cut his third tooth yesterday.
Clapping his hands.
Blowing raspberries.
Saying sound dada.
He also wears between 9 to 12 month clothing sizes.
Last night he pulled himself up to a standing position on me and then stood on is own for a few seconds. He thought it was fun so he kept doing it.
He has also picked up crawling up stairs. We have to really watch him because now he is trying to crawl up the stairs to the top floor. He can get up a couple of steps and then rolls down again. He doesn't like this part so much though.
Now that he can move around were ever he wants to he doesn't like to sit still anymore. I can't help but wonder if he is going to be just as active as Erica and Jackson were and still are.

Thursday, August 18, 2011

Today Derek climbed up the stairs from the family room to the kitchen. That is about 4 steps all together. I no longer can use the family room as my play pen for him.

One funny side note that happened today, my sister Marie called and told me that her and Dan watched "knowing" last night. We told them that it was the best movie ever (which it is not). Anyway they watched it last night and were wondering the whole time how we could have liked this movie. It is about this guy who gets this paper from a time capsule that has all these dates of tragedies. The movie might have been okay except for the aliens at the end. Anyway thanks Marie and Dan for being such good sports with the whole joke.

On a sad note today Brent's parents lost their dog Ping today. A few months ago they lost Chelsea's dog Toto and then Ping started going down hill. They found out he had diabetes and he was also losing his vision. The last few weeks he went down hill fast. He was afraid of everything and could not see and was in a lot of pain. He was such a cute little dog and a good friend to Brent's Dad and Mom. It all came as a shock. It's always hard to lose someone that is such a big part of your life.

Story for Jackson

Dad's Best Helper
Written By, Carol K. Davis

My name is Jackson.

I am Three.

I am my Dad's best helper.

The thing I like to do most is work on the digger.

I sit on my Dad's lap.

Then he lets me turn the key.

The digger starts to shake. That means it's digging time.

Together we scoop up the big rocks.

They are heavy.

Soon we will take a break.

We work hard all day long.

When we are done Dad tells me what a good helper I am.

I am my Dad's best helper.

(I know that Jackson isn't three yet, but I felt that three was better. I don't think a two year old could tell the story this way.)

Jackson's Rescue

This year Brent and I were able to go to my Mom's family reunion. We haven't been able to for a long time because of traveling long distance, and also having young children. Now that we live in Enoch we decided that we would go up to the cabin and camp with the Marie and Dan, and Cheryl and Tony. The cabin tends to be crowded even though it is very large. When we arrived Erica and Jackson almost immediately went down to the pond to play. I followed while Brent set up the Tent. My Mom, Janet, and Marie were done there with me. After being down there for a while I heard Erica on the little dock calling to me. I looked up and thought that she wanted to show me something. When I came closer I saw Jackson in the water. He was completely covered and his little eyes looked so frighted. I jumped in immediately and brought him up. Thank goodness the water was shallow enough for me to stand. We were all a little shaken. Erica came running up to me crying after I brought Jackson out of the water. I held both her and Jackson to comfort them.
The night before I had gone looking for a life vest for Jackson because I was worried that something like this might happen. I was not able to find one anywhere. I could not believe that he could have fallen in the water without me even hearing it happen. My sister Marie told Brent later that it was so quiet when it happened. We didn't hear a thing. I'm so grateful that Erica called out to me. She was able to understand that there was something wrong and that Jackson needed help.
I have this memory from when I was on the swim team that still terrifies me. One of the coaches had a little boy a little younger than Jackson. One day he fell into the water. His mother was leaning over the edge trying to get him out. I remember the boy falling into my lane. I was standing pretty far from the edge of the pool but I could have swam to him. I went into shock because of what was happening, and it seemed that everyone else did as well, all except for his mother. She finally jumped in to the pool to rescue him.
I have always wondered what I would do if I were in the same situation. I'm so grateful to know that I could act quickly in this situation. I still think of that moment and wish that it could be taken from my mind. I never want to see those image in my mind again. I'm so grateful for Erica, that she was prompted to call to me and let me know that there was something wrong. I'm so grate for Brent. Because he is a worthy priesthood holder he was able to give me a blessing to comfort me. I love my little Jackson so much and I am so grateful everyday that he is safe.

Uncle Fester

Little Derek with no hair!

His hair. It looks like some kind of fur it's so soft.

Well just a few minutes ago I cute Derek's hair. I was just going to trim it because he had a lot of hairs that were really long. I wanted to make it look all nice and neat. Well thank goodness he is a boy because I forgot to put the trimmer on the clippers. I went to far into his hair line that I just had to take it all off. Doesn't he have a good shaped head though?! :)

Brent thinks the he looks just like Uncle Fester.

Summer Camp July 12-14

Erica showing me her book.

Last day of class. Showing what she made.

The neighbor girl next door did a cute summer camp. Erica went and had the greatest time. They would do an activity and then make their own lunch.

Up on all fours

For the last couple of weeks Derek has been up in the crawling position. He is really determined to get this crawling thing down.

Brent's Birthday

Today is Brent's 33rd Birthday.
This morning we gave him his gift. Erica put the present in the kitchen so that Brent would have to go looking for it.
Brent really likes cereal so we gave him cookie crisp for his birthday breakfast. This didn't work out so well because he opened the gift after he had already eaten breakfast.
We also gave him a bag of Reese's. Brent's favorite desert is anything with chocolate, and if it has peanut butter with it even better.
The last part of the gift was a gift card to Home Depot for $25. If anyone knows Brent they know that this is the perfect gift for him. He would live at Home Depot if he could. J/K
After he opened is gifts then Erica drew a bunch of pictures for him and then put them around the living room for him to go and find. When he found then all Erica told him that it was his turn to draw her some pictures and hide them so they could pretend it was her birthday.
We went to Church a little late today. The kids had kind of had a hard morning and Jackson and Derek were both down for a nap so we went for the last 2 hours of church.
We had some dutch oven dinner with homemade rolls and apple sauce.
A little while later we had some chocolate oreo cake. I crushed up some oreo's to put in the middle and on top. We all had a really fun time.

On the July 19th Derek turned 8 months.
He has started doing so many new and wonderful things.
He is sitting up by himself as of about a week ago.
He has also started to get up on his hands and knees. I'm betting he will be crawling between 9 and 9 1/2 months. It's so nice that he is taking his time with this. I can already tell that he is going to be all over the place. Yesterday 7/27/11 i found Derek's first tooth. It had cut either yesterday or the day before. His other front lower tooth looks like it will be coming any day. I can see it, it just needs to cut through.
Yesterday Jackson and Erica were playing a game were they would run after each other with there little hands like claws and grrrr at each other. Derek picked up on it and started grrring at me. Whenever I would do it back he would start laughing and have a hard time stopping.
It seems like he is growing up so fast. I have loved watching him reach all his milestones so far.

Mary Kay Sells Women

Brent bought Erica some lip gloss on her little date with dad to the Home Depot and also walmart. When she got home she was doing make overs for everyone. We had a little conversation about it.

Erica: "Mom this is my new Mary Kay Make up. When it gets old I'm going to sell it to someone."
Mom: "You're so cute." In my mind I'm thinking I'm so glad that we don't sale used make-up. I wouldn't be able to sell a thing.

Story for Erica

Mom’s best helper

Written By, Carol K. Davis

My name is Erica.

I am four.

I am my mom’s best helper.

I like to help her take care of my baby brother Derek.

Since baby Derek is so small, my mom and I have to do everything for him.

The thing I like to do most is give baby Derek a bath.

I turn on the water, and my mom puts baby Derek in the tub.

Then she gives me some soap to clean him with.

He smiles at me while I tickle his tummy and splashes around in the tub.

Then we wash his hair and face.

When we are all done, I spread out a towel on the floor.

My mom puts him on the towel and lets me dry him off. Then its time for lotion.

After he is all clean and dry my mom tells me what a good helper I am.

I am my mom’s best Helper!

Derek Sits Up

I just went in to put Jackson down for bed. Derek was just hanging out in his bed. I started to read The Hungry Caterpillar story to Jackson and Derek was laying on his back. When I was done with the book I looked up and Derek was siting start up in bed. I could not believe it. I went out and told Brent and he told me that he saw Derek sit up yesterday. Yeah for Derek!!! :)

Day 7: Visit from Nana, Grandpa, and Uncle Drew

This morning We all woke up and said good bye to Uncle Drew.
Erica and Brent drove him down to St. George were he flew up to SLC and then on to North Carolina for a couple of days for work. Then he went to visit his parents in PA for a couple of days and then flew back to Italy for a couple more months and then he will be heading back to the states.

We had so much fun having Brent's family in town. We can't wait to have the back again.

Day 6: Visit from Nana, Grandpa, & Uncle Drew

Drew still did not feel well today.
Nancy and Charlie stayed until kids went down for naps and then drove to Provo to spend time with G&G Farnsworth. They spent the night there and then would fly out the next day.
Drew stayed with us and him and Brent hung out the rest of the day.
Brent and Drew went and picked up dinner from Carl's Junior. I really did not want to make anything for dinner. Thanks Drew for dinner.

Day 5: Visit from Nana, Grandpa, & Uncle Drew

This day the kids were having a rough morning. I think that they were wanting to get back to their routine. So Brent and I took Erica and Jackson to a park here in Enoch. They had a fun little mini golf course that they both love.

Erica was running around so much that it was hard to get a picture of her.

When they were done golfing we went over to play on the slide. That never happened because they found a big puddle instead. It was really cute to watch them play. They were having so much fun, and being so good to each other.

I love Erica's hair in this picture.

Now it is time to head home. They were a whole lot happier the rest of the day and so was everyone else.

Poor Uncle Drew got really sick this day. My parents watched the boy's and Erica had a sleep over at Kayla's house. The rest of us went to Chili's for dinner. Drew couldn't eat a thing and spent most of the time in the bathroom.
