There are Miracles!

Last night I stayed up until midnight reading a blog that I just heard about. It is that saddest and happiest blog ever. The family lives in Northern Utah. They have four boys. Their youngest Bronson is just over one year old and has been in Primary Children 's Hospital since Feb. 1, 2010. I will never leave my kids alone in the tub for the slightest second again. This family has been an inspiration to me. Please pray for them. There blog address is http://stakerzxposed.blogspot.com/ I also have a link to it in the side bar under Blogs I follow.

Photography Class 101

The past Couple of weeks I have been taking a photo class from Clark Knight here in Richfield. I have really enjoyed learning how to use my camera, and also the basics of photo taking. For example the theory of thirds and the correct way to hold your camera to name a few. These are some of the pictures that I took. We also have learned some of the basics of photo shop. I have really enjoyed that class and hope that I can continue to learn more.

After class tonight I came home and played with photo shop. I figured out how to do a collage. I have been wanting to learn how to do that for my blog. I don't like having to upload every picture individually. It's the greatest.

Here are some pictures of Jackson's Birthday. My parents came to Richfield to celebrate the weekend before his birthday, and then we also had our own little party with just our family on February 2nd. We were also able to Skype Brent's mom and she was able to watch Jackson open the gifts from her.

Something to be excited about......Continued

Well last Friday I went in for my working interview. I was nervous at first. It has been over 3 years and I didn't know what to expect. Things felt a little strange while I was assisting, but muscle memory took over and I was remembering things that I thought I had forgotten. It was really nice to know that I still had all that information storied away in my memory. Afterward Dr. Williams offered me the position and offered to let me think about it over the weekend. He said that the job would be every other Friday for now from 8-5pm and that they wanted to work up to every Friday. There was one point during the day that really made me nervous though. Dr. Williams said that there was and emergency patient trying to get a hold of us. This was around 12:00pm that he told me this and I only had my kids watched until 2:00pm and was freaking out hoping that the patient wouldn't be able to get a hold of us. (not to be rude or anything to the patient, but I wanted to get home to my kids.) Thank goodness they didn't get a hold of us, but that one experience gave me a lot to think about. Yesterday I call and told Dr. Williams that I would not be able to take the job, but I really enjoyed my time assisting him, and that I would be happy to temp. sometime if they needed me to. I didn't like the feeling of having an obligation to a job and my kids at the same time. What would I do if there was an emergency and I was at work and so was Brent. I don't know how working moms do it and I respect them. I love my kids so much, and I'm greatful that I don't have to work so I can stay home with me kids.

Can't Believe It's Been A Year!

Jackson Turns 1 year old today. Its so crazy. I can't believe how time fly's. Just a year ago Brent and I were heading to the hospital and my friend Katie Thalman was watching Erica for us. We had Jackson around 7:00pm. The poor little guy was having trouble with his breathing so around mid-night they life flighted him up to Provo. Brent was able to go with him. The next morning my Mom, Erica, Janet, and I drove up to Provo to see him. He was still having trouble breathing, but doing better. They also had him on antibiotic. He had some kind of virus also. Thank goodness my older sister Marie lives in Springville and Brent's Grandma and Grandpa Fansworth live in Provo. We were able to sleep at the Fansworth's and my Mom and Janet stayed with Marie for a week. Brent and I spent a lot of time and the Hospital while Erica played with cousins in Springville. After a week we were able to take Jackson home an O2 and a monitor. He was on the O2 for a month and the monitor for 2 months. We are so greatful for all those who were there when we need them. The nurses and doctors were great and I'm so greatful that my Mom and Marie were able to take care of Erica for us.

Today we have a happy healthy baby boy who is all over the place. He is clapping and waving his arms now. His favorite snacks are Nilla waffers, and popcorn. He doesn't like eating any other solid foods yet. I hope that he will soon. He doesn't seem to like the texture of solid foods. He is able to stand himself up by himself and has taken 5 steps in a row once. I know that once he gets the hang of it he will be running not walking. Brent and I loves this little guy so much and are so greatful to have him in our family.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACKSON!
