A nice day...

Today has been a great day. We have spent all day as a family. Just what we were needing. This last week Brent has been helping a friend with the electrical for their home they are building. It has been really nice to be able to help them out.

Today Brent and Erica gave our car a bath as Erica would call it or they just washed it and vacuumed it out. Jackson and I stayed in and washed windows and mopped the kitchen floor and picked up all the clutter. Then we all had grilled cheese sandwiches together for lunch while Jackson almost downed an entire orange all by himself. Yeah for Jackson.

Jackson and Erica then went down for their naps. Erica doesn't usually take naps now but she had gotten up at 6:30 this morning, but did come and get us tell 6:50 am. Brent relaxed and played a video game and I watched "You've Got Mail" and fail asleep. It was so nice.

Then when everyone was up again we headed out to go and find some shrubs to put in one of our flowerbeds. We found the perfect plants at ACE Hardware. I think they are called "Spiria." They have a pretty pink flower they should last most of the summer. When we got home Brent put them in with Erica. He would dig the holes and Erica would inspect them by climbing in and then giving Brent the OK to put the plant in. I love that little girl! While they were doing that Jackson helped me with getting dinner ready. All in all I think that it has been a great day for all of us.

1 Year Anniversary

On April 15 we celebrated one year in our house. It is so exciting. This is the first time that we have ever lived anywhere over a year, and I hope that we will stay here for the rest of our lives. To celebrate Brent and I went out to dinner. My sister gave a a gift card to Pepper Belly's for Christmas so we finally used it. Erica and Jackson were tended by a couple in our ward, Laurie and John Thalman. Erica loves Laurie. She is in the nursery and is Erica's favorite person.

Our little Monkey

Jackson is our little climber. He has now figured out how to climb on
to the table. It is a constant battle of wits between him and me.
I'm trying to keep him off and he is trying to get back on.
Most of the time I win, but there have been times that I come into the kitchen
just to see that he found a way on to the table again.

This is a daffodil that I got in the mail from Brecks.
It is a cluster of small flowers on one stem.
We have really enjoyed watching them come up.
I can't believe that Erica and Jackson haven't picked them yet.

Erica got this cute little outfit in the mail from her Nana. I love the little
headband that came with it.
This is and "Erica Flower" We have had lots of tulips coming
up in our yard. All of the pink ones are "Erica Flowers."

Richfield Rhythem

On April 28th Erica's little music class had their recital. It was so much fun to go too. I loved every minute of it. Erica was so cute to watch. She loved being in this class. She is always talking about her friends at Richfield Rhythem. Its too bad that the class is all done until next year though. I could go and watch her sing and dance over and over again. By the way the reason Erica is in a black shirt because they were all out of the Red for the girls. She liked the Black the most anyway so it worked out in the end.

Thanks so much to Becky Beard (Erica's teacher). She did such a cute job with the kids. Erica just loved her.

Brent made a DVD of the video we took. Erica and Jackson love to watch it all the time. There is a song called "Peanut Butter" Jackson loves to watch this song and do the actions as best he can. I think that we have a little Mr. Richfield Rhythem coming soon in a couple of years.

Tooth #6

Yeah Jackson cut his 6th tooth on Saturday. I hope that they just keep coming.
