Today we went in for another ultrasound to see if the tearing was healed that happened a couple of weeks ago. I had to go on bedrest for a week and then pretty much no activity for 2 more because of the tearing and bleeding. Brent came with me this time because there was a possibility of finding out what we were having. I have been convinced that we were having a girl for weeks, but Brent wasn't set on any gender. When we went in to do the ultrasound Brent was rushing to get there from work. So they just did all of the measurements first. Then we had the trouble that the baby wouldn't open its legs. It took longer to find out what we were having than it did to take measurements. By the way the babys weight is 6 oz almost a half of a pound and its little foot is almost and inch long. Anyway we finally got a good look. Brent took one look and just new we were having a boy. It was still to hard to really tell though, but he was right. "IT'S A BOY" and we are very excited.

Yay!! Congratulations! How fun to have two brothers so close in age!
ReplyDeleteCongrats!!!! How many weeks are you? I think I was 15 or something with my first sonogram with Isaac and we new right then we were having a boy, there was no denying it. How fun to have another boy. We will pray for you that things continue to go well.
