37 Weeks and 3 Days

Yesterday I went in for my appointment. The baby is very squished and moves a lot. Dixie (my Midwife) checked me and I'm at 4+ dilated. She thinks that I will have the baby before Thanks Giving. I don't think that anything will happen though unless she strips me. Today I went in for and ultrasound to check the baby's fluid levels. 2 Weeks ago my levels were at 11.2 and today they were 10.7 . The girl thinks that I could still be about the same though because the pockets that were measured could be different ones. Anyway for those of you who have never had low fluid I will explain. Anything above a 10 is good. On average though this far along most people are about a 20. The levels start to get dangerous once you go below 10 and if you get to a 5 they will do and intervention and deliver the baby. One of my sisters had low fluid and they and to deliver the baby, so I guess that it runs in the family. On Thursday I go back in to see Dixie so she can check me again so that I don't get so far dilated that the baby comes to fast that they can't give me the antibiotic. Well I'm so ready to have this baby and I can't wait to meet him. I'm wondering if he will have red hair. I think at this point I would be shocked if he didn't.

I am so glad you are doing so well! And your fluids are doing GREAT! Mine got under 3. so 10 just sounds FANTASTIC!!! and by the way...you haven't posted recent belly pics. I am requesting them now. :)

I'm so excited for you to have him! I had low fluids with our first too, and they have been checking mine ever since. I think mine got down to a 5 with Nyah. This time around, I am holding a 15, which is great! I am so happy that you are at the end of your pregnancy! Can't wait to see him!

That just means you will be holding your little one sooner than later. How exciting!!!! I love my time in the hospital with my new baby. So happy for you guys!!!!

Our Little Family Update

Brent and I met in our Institute class at SUU in February 2004. We started dating a month later. On July 5 Brent asked me to marry him at his parents town home in Cedar City. His sister Stephanie and her husband Matt, and my twin sister Cheryl and her husband Tony and their son Ethan were there. Afterwords he took me up cedar mountain were we had sparkling water (I don't recommend it) and kicks with chocolate peanut butter. On September 18, 2004 we were married in the St. George Temple. About a year later we moved to Henderson, NV. Brent was pre-dental and applying for dental school. While living in Henderson Brent worked for a sleep lab and I worked as a Hygiene assistant. After 9 months we decided to move back to Cedar so that Brent could get his MBA. We later found out that I was pregnant with our first Child. Erica was born on January 5, 2007. After Brent graduated with his MBA in May 2008 we moved to Richfield, UT were he got a Loan Officer position with State Bank of Southern Utah. In June we were surprised to find out we were going to add to our family. Jackson Brent Davis was born on February 2, 2009. We have lived here in Richfield for almost a year and are loving it here. We are also in the process of buying our first home. On April 15, 2009 we moved into our new home. We love having our own home. Its so nice to have a place of your own. Our ward was so welcoming. Brent was called as the Young Men's President, and I was called to be the pianist in the primary. Erica also loves the nursery. Its all she talks about while we are in sacrament meeting. March 2010, I was just released from the primary pianist and put in the Relief Society as the pianist. I'm a little nervous, and sad. I really loved being in the primary. We have some really big news. towards the end of April this year (2010) we found out that we are expecting our third child. We are very excited and also scared to death. The baby is due on December 4, 2010. Derek Charles Davis (Charles for His Grandpa Davis, Brent's dad) was born on November 19, 2010. His was 7lbs 11oz and very healthy. Brent also received a promotion with State Bank. We will most likely be moving back to Cedar area before Christmas (2010) this year. We are buying a new home in Enoch that is in a new area with lots of young families and a well attended ward. We are really excited and also sad to leave all the really great people we have become friends with here in Richfield. Dec. 31st 2010 was moving day. We moved everything in one load thank goodness. Some Elders from our new ward and family helped move us in. Brent and I are home sick for Richfield. Erica and Jackson are adjusting great and love their new home and are love sharing a room together. They are doing surprisingly well. Spring 2011: Brent was called to be the second counselor in the YM presidency. He is also the scout master. It looks like it's going to be a lot of work. I was also called to lead the music in Relief Society. I was also called to be chairman for our ward for the stake "Reflections of Beauty" that was on June 3oth 2011. Well a lot has happened in a year. Brent is no longer in the YM's pres or the scout master. He is now the Young Mens advisor for the priests and loves it. I was called to be the assistant wolves den leader March 2012. It has been very fun to see what I will be looking forward too when my boys are that age. Last fall we got our lawn put in in the back yard. It has been so nice to have a backyard. The kids love it and so do we. Erica just finished Preschool and will be attending Enoch Elementary this fall. She also finish off her first year of dance. Jackson had a big year. In Feb. 2012 he finish Early Intervention and moved over to Three Peaks Preschool. He goes Monday's and Wed. mornings. The bus come and picks him up and brings him home. He has loved his new "Lighting McQueen Preschool" (there was a sticker of Lighting McQueen that he saw when he first visited the school). Derek is now 18 Months and has learned to climb on everything he can and learned to say Moon today June 2, 2012. May 2013: Erica just finished Kindergarten. Jackson is doing so well with his speech that he no longer qualifies for speech therapy. Derek has been in Early Intervention for speech also for the last 6 months. He will start going to the Early intervention class in June. We are expecting a new baby in November. The baby is due November 24, 2013. I'm expecting it to come at 38 weeks like the other three. That puts the date around November 10th. I think I will die if the baby goes over 38 weeks. Chase Kenney Davis was born on November 11, 2013. He was 2 weeks early and was 9lbs 5oz. I'm so glad that he came early. We are so glad to add another boy to our family.
