Since we are moving to Cedar and wont be here in Richfield for Erica's birthday (Jan. 5) so I had a friend party early for her. We invited 11 of her little friends:
Caleb and Addilyn
Jaxon and Madi
Aubrey and Tyler
Zach and Allie
Ethan
Katera
and Julia
When the kids arrived we made little advent calendars with the kids. My friends Katie, Ashely, Amanda, and Cindy stayed with their kids and helped me out a ton. After the craft we played "Find Santa's Raindeer" I told the kids a story about how the raindeer had a party on Christmas Eve and Santa couldn't find them, so he sent his elves (the kids) around to find them so that there would be presents for Christmas. They went excitedly running around looking for them. Afterwords they brought them to the table and we put them in order from 1 to 8. Caleb asked me were was Rudolph. I know I should have printed one out. Then we played "The Christmas Candle" It is kind of like pin the tail on the donkey. The kids were blind folded and then spun around. Then they would walk toward me and try to blow out the candle. Ethan and Katera had so much fun with this and would help we blow out the matches. After all the kids had gone we opened presents. The kids took over at this point. By the time I got over there to watch almost all the presents were open. Afterwords we sand Happy Birthday and ate Christmas cupcakes and tree cookies and m&m cookies with Red and Green drinks (Cherry and Lemon Lime 7UP).
The party ended a little early so the kids went running though the house laughing and having so much fun. When everyone was gone we took Julia home and picked up Jackson. Debbie was so nice to watch him for me. I don't think that I could have done the party and watched him at the same time.
Erica has loved playing with all of her new toys and can't stop talking about the fun games that we played. It was a fun way to somewhat end our life here in Richfield. Thanks to everyone who helped out.

you are such a fantastic mom! Those are some of the most creative and fun party games I've ever heard of!
