Wow Derek is already 10 Months old.  I knew it was coming up but I didn't know until I looked at the calendar that it was today.

Stats:  20lbs

This little guy is so heavy and wiggles a lot.  It is so hard to hold him now. He also isn't wiggling because I'm holding him.  You would think that he wants to get down, but once you put him down then you hear the cry that means pick me back up, pick me back up.  

He is starting to balance on he feet.  When he is just staying still and playing with a toy he doesn't just sit he always on his feet.  He can also stand up by himself.  He has done this quite a few times.  Mamamama is his new sound that he can say.  I love it.  Makes me feel wanted.  He has four teeth now, two on top and two on the bottom.  The  fifth one should come any day now.  Compared to the other two kids Derek is very sensitive when it comes to teething.  He lets you know that he is upset and in pain.  He is down to one nap a day.  Sometimes he will take a short nap in the morning depending on how early he got up.  

His little personality is starting to come out more and more.  One of my favorite things he does is when I'm feeding him a treat.  The other night it was a brownie.  He will get so excited for you to put it in his mouth and then once it's in he is all smiles and giggles.  It makes me smile just thinking of it.
