Derek is 11 Months old today.  Time goes by so fast.  One more month and then it's Derek's Birthday.  I really need to start thinking about what to get him.

There have been a lot of changes in this little guy's life in the past month.

He now has tooth #6 (cut it a couple of days ago).  

On Sunday he took his first steps all by himself.  In the morning he took two steps for Brent and then later did two steps for me.

He is our little climber.  The dishwasher is his favorite toy.  If he sees that it is open, he crawls as fast as he can to get to it.  Then he starts to pull out anything that he can.  After he is done with that he will push the bottom rack in and climb on to the door and then start pulling stuff out of the top rack. 

He also loves to open cupboards and pull everything out.  We are going to have to start child proofing again.

He loves to smile.  He is quite the attention grabber when he is happy.

On the flip side, he can also be very dramatic.  He is the loudest cryer of all my kids.  Thank goodness, he smiles more than he cries.
I love this little guy so much.  I love that when he is hurt he comes right to me so I can make it better.  When he wants to play he comes to me.  I love that he likes to play with me.
