On Thursday Feb. 2nd Jackson turned 3 years old. Can't believe how fast this last year went.
He has learned so much this past year while going to Early Intervention. His speech has improved by leaps and bounds. Well on to the birthday stuff. We had the family Birthday Party Wednesday evening so that all our family here in Cedar could be there. He was so excited for his Birthday cake. He told be that he would like a Dora and Diego cake but I only had Dora so that was out for a Birthday Boy. So he excitedly decided on a Basketball cake with mint chocolate ice cream.
He received so many wonderful gifts.
G&G Dunnell: Alphabet coloring book, balloons, and a shirt.
G&G Kenney: 4 sets of new PJ's.
Walsers: A power ranger with a motorcycle.
Erica and Derek: Blue Lego Mater from the movie "Cars 2"
Mom and Dad: Yellow Lego car from the movie "Cars 2"
He was so excited about all of his gifts. It is so much fun to watch his excitement that he has when opening his gifts. All of the cousins played for a little while longer and then we said goodnight to family.
On his Birthday Jackson when and played with Grandma Kenney in the morning while I took Erica to dance class. He had tons of fruit snacks and played games with Grandma.
In the evening we had pizza for dinner and then got ready to go swimming as a family.
The Walser's watched Derek for us while the rest of us went swimming. Jackson was brave and went down some slides. He doesn't like being in deep water though. He has fallen in a couple of times and gets really nervous. He loved the fish slide and the bubbling water. Erica was lots of fun too, she is now putting her head under the water.
On Friday we skyped Nana and she was able to watch Jackson open his gift from them. He received some cute doctor scrubs and a cowboy shirt that his Nana made for him. He loves to dress up.
Thanks for all the family in making Jackson's Birthday a great success.
