15 Months

Weight:  23lbs 4oz  Height:  30 3/4 inches

Head circumference:  18 1/4 inches

In February Derek turned 15 months.  He has finally started going down the stairs on his own.  He turns at the top of  the stairs and slides down on his tummy.  He has recently started scooting down the stairs on his bum.  He can say ball and tickle tickle.  He has three molars and the fourth is on its way.  He also loves to kiss his Mom and Dad.  We will ask for a kiss and he will just place his lips on our cheek or lips.  Then he will pull back with a big smile.  Derek is very interested in books.  He loves to sit on our laps at night when we read stories for bed time.  He will pick books to bring to us, and is very good at siting to listen to the story.  He is still such a happy little boy.  People are always asking me if he is all ways so happy and smiley.  I say, yes unless he wants something.  I love my baby so much.  It makes me sad to think that he wont be a baby for that much longer.
