Sunday Walk

Last Sunday Erica was having a hard time in sacrament meeting because she wanted her blanket that was at home. So Brent took her out. She really needed to go home and get her blanket so she left the Church to walk home. Brent wanted to see if she could do it all by herself so he shadowed her on her walk. She ran all the way home. When she got there Brent ran into the back door to see if she remembered that the front door was locked. A little bit latter he heard the door open and Erica came in though the garage and went right down stairs to her room. He could hear her sucking her thumb. She sat there for a while and then came up the stairs. Then she sat on the floor and sucked her thumb some more. Then she decided that it was time to head back to church. She got all the way down the drive way and up the side walk and then stopped. Brent could see that she was a little nervous. She turned and walked back to the house. When she opened the door she saw her daddy there. She then said, "Daddy come on its time to go back to Church." So they went back to Church.

I'm glad that she knows her way home, but I hope that she never does that again.
