December 26th 2010: Derek's Blessing Day

The day after Christmas we were able to Bless Derek Charles Davis in the Richfield 10th Ward. I really wanted to do it before we moved from Richfield and also the biggest reason was because Nancy was in town. When we blessed Jackson Brent was not able to have any family there. All of my sisters and their family and my Parents were there also. Brent also invited Kaden to stand in the circle with the family. Amanda and Kaden Waters were also their. We had become really good friends with them, they were pretty much our family while living in Richfield. After Church everyone came back to our house where we had lunch and spent time together as a family.
Brent gave a really great Blessing like always does. I love that he gives it so much thought before had of what he wants to say. It always surprises me what he says because it is so perfect, and so thought out. I'm grateful that he is able to give our children blessings.
