Dec. 27th-Dec. 31st: Our Move Back to Cedar

Today we found out that we would be signing on the house in Richfield and hopeful that home in Enoch. It has been so crazy waiting for this whole deal to go though. Its so great that it was finally here but now that meant that we would need to pack. That night I packed up our whole kitchen leaving only a few things that we would need. It was nice that Nancy was there and watched our kids for us so we could pack. The next day (Tuesday) Nancy left for home and Brent went to work I was left all by myself with the kids had a week and a half of help from either Brent or Nancy. It was not fun for any of us getting back into a routine. Wed. afternoon we went and sign on the richfield house and waited for the papers to come in for the Enoch house. I went and got the Kids for the Waters house and went and got lunch for them at McDonald's. Brent called and asked me to come and wait at the Bank for the papers to come in. After the kids were done eating Brent came out of his office and told me we were going to Cedar to get the papers signed so they could fund on the house tomorrow. So we got in the car and left. We got the Cedar my parents took the kids and Brent and I and Derek went to sign the papers. Afterwords we went back to my parents house to have a quick bit and then head back. My mom and Dad were so nice to take Erica and Jackson for us so that we could go home and pack up the house. It was so crazy to believe that Erica and Jackson would not be going back to Richifield. That was their last day and thank goodness they got to play with Aubrey and Tyler.

On the way home the roads were looking really good up until we got past Beaver. Then things got bad really fast. We were heading right into a Blizzard. I have never been in any snow storm that bad. It took us 2 1/2 hours to get to filmore instead of 45 min. We stayed at my Aunt Karma's house to see if the storm would let up. It was so nice of them to let use wait in our on their home. At about 11:00 pm we headed out to go around the back way though Sippio. On a normal night we would have gotten home just before 1:00 am but we didn't get home until 2:00 am.

Thursday Brent and I packed all day, and then Friday Morning the Elders in our ward came and helped us pack our 24 ft truck. The couple who bought our home came to get their key and they started moving in right as we left.

When we got to Cedar I went to get the key and Brent to the truck to the house. I also went to go and get Erica to come and hang out with us while we moved in. My Dad, Tony, and Lance Stott came to help us move in. Some people in the ward were moving into a basement apartment down the street and saw our truck and came over to help us. It took them 45 mins to clear out our truck. We were so grateful for the help. When we moved to Richfield 2 1/2 years ago it was my Dad and Brent moving us in all by themselves. I'm sure they were both glad for all the help this time.

We are loving our home. Erica will come up to me and tell me how much she loves her new house all the time. We are felling home sick for Richfield and Friends, but there will be an adjusting period we will go though. Thanks to everyone who has helped use with this move.
