On the July 19th Derek turned 8 months.
He has started doing so many new and wonderful things.
He is sitting up by himself as of about a week ago.
He has also started to get up on his hands and knees. I'm betting he will be crawling between 9 and 9 1/2 months. It's so nice that he is taking his time with this. I can already tell that he is going to be all over the place. Yesterday 7/27/11 i found Derek's first tooth. It had cut either yesterday or the day before. His other front lower tooth looks like it will be coming any day. I can see it, it just needs to cut through.
Yesterday Jackson and Erica were playing a game were they would run after each other with there little hands like claws and grrrr at each other. Derek picked up on it and started grrring at me. Whenever I would do it back he would start laughing and have a hard time stopping.
It seems like he is growing up so fast. I have loved watching him reach all his milestones so far.
